I have seen this done with Eastern Red Cedar on out-buildings and on rustic cabins, but not on the front porch of a house. I like it though. Maybe they could hang things from, or put blue bottles on the stobs.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure whether it's "culturally appropriate" to have bottle trees in New Jersey. But I grew up in Mississippi, so I may be prejudiced about this southern tradition.
