That time of year

Scurrying around from work to family obligations, waiting for the plumber, and work, of course, eight hours a day, five days a week ... days of fools errands on the weekend. I can't even find time to get the rest of the bulbs planted. And it snowed this week, then rained a lot. Winter dissolution is coming on. It's that in between time. I hope to get back to gardening tasks next weekend. Today, a 3+ hour drive to Catskill, New York.

  1. We're with you on that. It seems, for a moment, that there isn't much that needs to be done in comparison to the busy summer gardening. Then, suddenly, nothing that you wanted to get done got done!

  2. Shibaguyz,
    I see you know.

The temptation to just stop is strong when fall comes. Plants I meant to divide but didn't. Bulbs I need to plant, and may not (I hope I do). The pond needs to be cleaned of fallen leaves and algae before winter.
