A resounding AMEN to your scree on the importance of precise seman- tics in discussing environmental & biological issues. So many once- meaningful words have been neutered & co-opted. "Footprint" is another on my boycott list.
I'm pretty cool on "talking the talk" in general these past few years--simply walking the walk plenty to keep me busy.
